TORONTO – The Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) announced Friday that goaltender Cole Plowman, Steinbach Pistons (MJHL), along with forwards Jace Letourneau, Renfrew Wolves (CCHL) and Spencer Caines, Valley Wildcats (MHL) have been named its CJHL 3 Stars of the Month for November – Fuelled by Gatorade.

1ST STAR: COLE PLOWMAN, (G) STEINBACH PISTONS (MJHL) –
Getting the starting nod in six match-ups during the time frame, Plowman won each of them, while only allowing five goals-against.

In all, the 20-year-old from St. Clements, Man., finished the month with a stellar 0.83 average, along with an equally solid .966 save percentage and one shutout.

Helping the MJHL-leading Pistons collect 30 points in 18 appearances, Plowman boasts a record of 14-2-2 record, while registering a GAA of 1.82 and a save mark of .935.

The CCHL’s most recent player of the month, tops all skaters in his league in markers with 23, while his 39 overall points, sees him sit just one shy of a share of first. He also represented the CCHL at the recently held Eastern Canada Cup Challenge in Trenton, Ont., as a member of Team Robinson, where he scored once and helped set-up two others.
