Tigers’ Williams commits to King’s College in Pennsylvania

The Campbellton Tigers have announced that goaltender Ben Williams has committed to King’s College in Pennsylvania, an NCAA Division III school.

The 20-year-old from St. John’s, Newfoundland spent one season in the MHL. He started the 2023-24 campaign with the Yarmouth Mariners. In thirteen games there, Williams went 5-6-1-0 with a 3.88 goals against average and an .888 save percentage.

A trade on January 4th brought Williams to Campbellton. In eleven games with the Tigers, he posted a record of 2-8-1-0 with a 4.80 goals against average and an .872 save percentage. Williams was named an honourable mention for Top Goaltender in March.
