The Miramichi Timberwolves have announced that defenseman Jordan Spadafore has committed to Nipissing University for 2021-22.
The 20-year-old from Whitefish, Ontario spent just over two seasons with the Rayside-Balfour Canadians in the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League (NOJHL) before moving to the QMJHL in 2018-19. On January 9th of that season, his rights were acquired by the Grand Falls Rapids. In 19 games with Grand Falls, Spadafore had one goal and eight assists.
Spadafore’s rights were traded on September 5th, 2019 to Miramichi, but he spent the 2019-20 season with the QMJHL’s Saint John Sea Dogs. Joining the Timberwolves for the 2020-21 season, he’s posted nine assists in 20 games in addition to being a key contributor on the blueline.
The MHL congratulates Spadafore on his hockey career and post-secondary commitment.
