With the Edmundston Blizzard and Yarmouth Mariners continuing to battle through regulation and beyond in their best of seven MHL Final, series in Quebec and the Ottawa Valley are also being contested to determine the Fred Page Cup participants in Ottawa in early May.
In the LHJQ, the two Quebec representatives from last year, the Terrebonne Cobras and Longueuil College Francais, are currently getting ready for Game 4 of their best of seven Napa Cup Final. After Longueuil captured the first two games of the series, the Cobras got back in the series on Wednesday night with a 4-3 victory on the road. The Cobras now return home to Terrebonne for this evening’s game, hoping to tie the series up. Game time is 8:30PM Atlantic.
In the CCHL, the Ottawa Jr. Senators, this year’s Fred Page Cup host team, and the Carleton Place Canadians have already secured their spots in this year’s tournament. The Senators are also one game away from clinching their first league title since 2002 as they take a 3-1 series lead in their best of seven Bogart Cup Final against the Canadians heading into Game 5 this Saturday at 9:15PM Atlantic in Carleton Place. The Canadians staved off elimination with a 2-1 victory over the Senators in Ottawa on Wednesday.
The 2018 Fred Page Cup is set to take place from May 2nd-6th.
