The Maritime Hockey League is launching a nearly two-week friendly competition to let fans decide who has the best gear. Eleven of the league’s twelve teams have Gongshow Lifestyle Hockey Apparel custom hats. So how will it work?
A bracket has been created, with teams seeded based on their divisional standing as of Monday, December 10th. As the Truro Bearcats do not have a Gongshow hat, the 2019 Fred Page Cup hat has been entered instead.
Voting will run on the MHL’s Twitter account from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. daily on the following schedule:
- Monday, Dec. 10 – Miramichi Timberwolves (4) vs St. Stephen Aces (5)
- Tuesday, Dec. 11 – Edmundston Blizzard (3) vs Grand Falls Rapids (6)
- Wednesday, Dec. 12 – South Shore Lumberjacks (4) vs Pictou County Weeks Crushers (5)
- Thursday, Dec. 13 – Fred Page Cup (3) vs Valley Wildcats (6)
- Friday, Dec. 14 – Summerside Western Capitals (1) vs Dec. 10 winner
- Saturday, Dec. 15 – Campbellton Tigers (2) vs Dec. 11 winner
- Sunday, Dec. 16 – Yarmouth Mariners vs Dec. 12 winner
- Monday, Dec. 17 – Amherst Ramblers vs Dec. 13 winner
- Tuesday, Dec. 18 – North Division Final
- Wednesday, Dec. 19 – South Division Final
- Thursday, Dec. 20 – Championship Final
