Rockland rolls along at No. 1 in CJHL Top 20 rankings
TORONTO – Rolling right along, the Rockland Nationals (CCHL) maintain their place atop the CJHL Top 20 Rankings – Fuelled by Gatorade, announced Monday.
As the front-runners in the Central Canada Hockey League, Rockland is on a 12-game heater entering play this week, having yet to taste defeat on the campaign.
Moving up to No. 2 in the 118-team CJHL are the Edmundston Blizzard (MHL).
Edmundston is a solid 13-1-0-0 to date in Maritime Hockey League play.
Another surging side, the Leamington Flyers (OJHL) are slotted No. 3 in the weekly listings, which are compiled by an independent scouting service.
The Flyers have won five straight, moving to 13-2-0-1 overall, while pacing the Ontario Junior Hockey League in winning percentage at .844.
At No. 4 nationally are the Grande Prairie Storm (AJHL).
Grande Prairie sports a 9-1-1-1 mark through their first dozen contest in the Alberta Junior Hockey League and have only allowed an AJHL-low 26 goals-against.
Rounding out the Top 5 are the Summerside Western Capitals (MHL).
They only have one defeat in regulation so far this season, sitting at 10-1-2-0 to date.
